Vegas sure is already taking a lot of D....so my guess would be Grigs is gone. which makes sense cause they've got some russian players on the team so he would be useful to make that Shirapov guy feel more comfortable. but Ross Sellers guy makes a valid point, does the loss of Grigorenko impact the signing of Zadorov since they were buddies? My guess would be no because I'm fairly certain Zads and Mironov are friends right?

yeah its hard to tell, so they might need a fat contract like his to help after they try to move those Dmen like Methot, Emelin, etc

The Emelin one surprised me I didn't know there was a market for such a player. I'm pretty sure Clarkson is going to LTIR so they'll need something to hit the floor, just not sure when they are expected to be at the cap minimum by, must be the start of training camp or something?

It's not that bad. Plus I think Spencer Martin is better... Wish it would've been Soderberg but that was a pipe dream.

Wow, can someone give an explanation of why you would not protect Pickard? No way they touch Varlamov!! This move makes no sense, as I knew they were going to nab him from the Avs. I can see if Varly has like 5 great seasons left as their starter, but that will surely remain to be seen. Maybe they are confident in his health, but still Vegas was not going to touch him if they left him unprotected. Hope the draft this weekend flows much better and they don't get fleeced for #9 and #92.

I will get over it if Martin is everything the Avs predicted he would be. This was a misstep by our GM. The only bright side is be get to keep Barbs

Pickard is a back up, with bellow average career numbers. It's not the end of the world.

Pickard is loveable but a below average goalie and it's been reported by bsn tha vegas would have picked varly.

Life goes on, they made he right move. Picks was a great character but isn't a number 1 goalie and won't ever be one. I won't get upset over losing a back up
